There are several reasons why an applicant may not be eligible for Rent & Legal protection. In order to qualify for cover, the tenant(s) and/or guarantor(s) must meet the following criteria:
- A credit check dated within the last 90s days showing no County Court Judgements or Bankruptcies in the last three years.
- Two forms of identification, one of which must contain a photograph.
- Proof of affordability - employer verification confirming the tenant(s) or guarantor(s) are in current and permanent employment and that their income is at least 2.5x the monthly rent.
